What an experience it must have been for an atheist born in communist Yugoslavia, to have her world forever

turned upside-down when God revealed Himself through an innocent art fashion photo. Even more, to uncover 

a world of amazing coincidences, symbols, signs and messages, a paranormal puzzle of hundreds of pieces 

which turned into an amazing photo-Bible story. That is exactly what happened to Dijana Mesin, the author of 

this book: a former dancer/choreographer and a celebrated Croatian artist who grew up in a household where 

religion was prohibited and spirituality ignored. An accomplished photojournalist, she photographed in back 

stage notable celebrities from the fashion, theatre and film industry. Her fashion photo-reports and interviews 

with Giorgio Armani, Woody Harrelson, Missoni etc., were published in Croatian media. The high point of her 

photographic career was a multi-media exhibition Faces. For it’s opening, she created spectacular performance 

La Dolce Vita.

She might have remained in the comfortable world of celebrity and glamour, if one of her photos didn’t 

unexpectedly become much more than art.

Out of the blue, eternity emerged. The ungraspable became concrete! The ethereal strings of transcendence 

became visible. Her Fishman photo revealed the existence of God, through the story of the most famous 

fisherman of all time - Jesus. Race, gender, faith, creed and nation may separate us, but they are not as strong 

as that which connects us - love. Dijana couldn’t ignore the message she received, that the “Flame of Love needs 

to race from heart to heart, connecting us and extinguishing the fire of hate.” She left her family, friends, successful 

life and beautiful ancient Dalmatia. Upon the suggestion of Oliviero Toscani, a world famous photographer, she 

came to the USA, with her husband and daughter, in pursuit of her purpose: to share a gift from Heaven, a 

photo-miracle with the entire world:

After a few minutes, the new discovery was equally breathtaking; the second and third details revealed on the photo are variations on the theme Man under Veil, artwork I did six years earlier. I stepped into the mysterious world of the Divine circle. I spontaneously started to decode hundred of symbols and messages. The innocent Fishman photo unexpectedly transformed into a transcendental happening that captured an entire story about the most famous fisherman of all time - Jesus. From that one photo, supernaturally, sprang the mystical mosaic of forty-five unbelievable scenes and personalities, all related to the Bible: The Cross, Jesus, Father, Mother, Hell, God’s Finger, Adam’s Skull, Crucifix, Annunciation etc., as Biblia Perepetum (the Bible in Pictures).
